NightCrawl ("the app") is a police/fire scanner and severe-weather livestream aggregator operated by SDO Sports and Tech LLC. This policy describes what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information We Collect

• Anonymous device identifier — a randomly generated ID stored on your device, used to record streamer ratings, viewing activity, and to personalize streamer recommendations. It is not linked to your name, email, or any account.
• Feedback submissions — if you send feedback through the app, we receive the message you write, the app version, your device platform, and your email address only if you choose to provide it.
• Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications, a Firebase Cloud Messaging token is registered so we can deliver alerts you subscribe to.

Information Stored Only on Your Device

Your favorites, watch history, region preferences, theme choice, and notification settings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not require or create user accounts.
• We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.
• We do not collect precise location data.

Third-Party Services

The app displays publicly available livestream content and thumbnails from YouTube and Twitch. When you open a stream, you are taken to the respective platform, whose own privacy policies apply. Push notifications are delivered via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Data Retention

Anonymous viewing and rating records are retained to power app features. You can clear locally stored data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

NightCrawl is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page.
